On November 3rd Daniel and his band will perform in the Erholungshaus in Leverkusen as a part of the Leverkusener Jazztage. They will have the honor of opening the evening up for the incredible bassist and composer Avishai Cohen and his trio.

Daniel is a Rolling Stone UK ‘Artist to Watch’ for April 2026a and the popular news outlet published a feature on the project. They write: ‘De Boer doesn’t position himself within a scene. His work sits slightly outside of it, informed by discipline and shaped by long-form thinking. Less immediate, more considered.’

Independent UK music outlet New Music Monthly published a review of Daniel’s song ‘The Way’ and the music video for it, that was released earlier this year. They write: ‘This release sees Daniel continue to develop his “world pop” approach, reflecting both his international and collaborative way of writing.’

Daniel’s song ‘Beside Me’ has been nominated for the 2026 Hollywood Independent Music Awards in the category best folk/acoustic song. The awards ceremony will take place on July 30th at the iconic Avalon theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Daniel joined the beautiful Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection vessel ‘Evrima’ as a part of the resident band. They will perform a variety of styles onboard, including Daniel’s original material. The band will also be accompanying various Broadway stars.
